Dutch Oven - Enchilada Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. ground beef
    1 tsp. salt
    1 large onion, chopped
    1 can tomato soup (10 3/4 oz.)
    2 cans mild enchilada sauce (10 oz.)
    1 can water (10 oz.)
    corn tortillas (uncooked)
    1/2 lb. grated cheese, divided
Preparation
    Brown together ground beef, salt and chopped onion.
    Add tomato soup, enchilada sauce and water and simmer.
    Remove 3/4 of meat mixture from the pan.
    Place over top of remaining mixture 3 corn tortillas (uncooked).
    Add layer of meat. Put 1/4 pound grated cheese on top.
    Add layer of meat.
    Put 3 corn tortillas on top.
    Add another layer of meat.
    Add 1/4 pound of cheese.
    Place lid on pan and let simmer.
    Makes 6 portions.
