Gazpacho - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    24 oz. can V-8 juice
    juice of 1 lemon
    16 oz. can tomatoes or 3 peeled whole fresh tomatoes
    4 slices stale bread
    14 oz. can chicken broth
    2 Tbsp. red wine vinegar
    2 Tbsp. olive oil
    dash of salt
    dash of pepper
    dash of Tabasco
    1 large onion, chopped
    1 small cucumber, chopped
    1 green pepper, chopped
Preparation
    Into blender put the first four ingredients.
    Blend well.
    Pour into large plastic bowl.
    Add broth, vinegar, olive oil, salt, pepper and Tabasco to taste.
    Stir well.
    Now add the remaining ingredients.
    Chill overnight or at least 4 hours; stir again before serving.
    This improves with age.
    Serves 8.
