Chinese Chews - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    3/4 c. flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1 c. walnuts
    2 eggs
    1 c. chopped dates
Preparation
    Spread in thin sheet.
    Bake 30 minutes.
    Cut in squares while hot.
    Form into balls by rolling each square in palm of hand. Roll in granulated sugar.
    Makes 24 chews.
