Oatmeal Honey Toffee - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2/3 c. melted butter
    4 c. rolled oats
    1 c. brown sugar
    1/2 c. honey
    1 tsp. salt
    3 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 c. finely chopped nuts
Preparation
    Pour melted shortening over rolled oats, mixing thoroughly. Add brown sugar, honey, salt and vanilla.
    Pack firmly into well-greased 8-inch square pan.
    Bake in 325\u00b0 oven about 12 minutes or longer until a rich brown color.
    Let stand until completely cool.
    Cut into bars.
