Grandma'S Feather Dumplings - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
4 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. black pepper
1 egg, well beaten
2 Tbsp. melted butter
2/3 c. milk
Preparation

Sift dry ingredients together.
Add egg, melted butter and enough milk to moisten stiff batter.
Boil chicken pieces and then take out of broth.
Drop dumplings by teaspoon into boiling liquid.
Cook covered and without peeking for 18 minutes or until dumplings are done.
Take bones out of chicken and then add chicken back in broth with dumplings.
