Fried Potato Cakes - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. mashed potatoes
1 c. flour (self-rising)
1 tsp. salt
4 Tbsp. butter, melted
1 beaten egg
Preparation

Add melted butter and beaten egg to mashed potatoes.
Mix in enough flour as needed to make a soft dough. Drop by heaping spoonfuls into a buttered pan.
Flatten to 1/2-inch thickness. Fry until light brown.
