Quick Crunchies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. margarine
    2 eggs
    1 c. chopped dates
    3/4 c. sugar
    2 c. Rice Krispies
    1 c. chopped pecans
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 (4 oz.) can coconut
Preparation
    In small bowl, beat eggs well.
    Stir in dates, margarine and sugar.
    Pour into skillet.
    Cook until thickened, stirring very often.
    Remove from heat.
    Stir in remainder.
    Chill.
    Form into balls.
    Roll in coconut.
    Yields 3 to 4 dozen.
