Mincemeat Pie Filling - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 apples
    1 lb. cooked roast beef
    1 c. raisins, packed down
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    3/4 c. grape wine or juice
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1 tsp. cloves
Preparation
    Stem and core apples and slice thin, then cut the slices into 8 to 10 pieces.
    Cut the cooked roast beef into small pieces (like the apple).
    Mix ingredients (except spices; add last) and let stand overnight in refrigerator.
    You can keep longer.
