Glazed Squash(For The Barbecue) - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 acorn squash
1/4 c. butter
1/4 c. packed brown sugar
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
Preparation

Cut squash lengthwise into strips about 1/2 inch thick.
Peel each strip.
Put the squash pieces on a large piece of doubled heavy aluminum foil.
Melt butter and stir in remaining ingredients.
Pour over squash and wrap the foil loosely around the vegetable, making double folds to seal well.
Cook about 4 inches from hot coals for 45 minutes or until tender, turning the package halfway through cooking.
Note:
Bake in oven at 400\u00b0 for about 1 hour, if desired.
Serves 2.
