Gingersnaps - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. shortening
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 egg
    1/4 c. molasses
    2 tsp. soda
    1 tsp. ginger
    1 tsp. cloves
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1 tsp. salt
    2 c. flour
Preparation
    Cream sugar and shortening.
    Add egg and molasses.
    Sift dry ingredients together and mix in.
    Roll dough in small balls in sugar.
    Place about 2 inches apart.
    Bake at 375\u00b0.
    Makes 3 dozen.
