Caramel Corn - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. popcorn (popped about 16 c.)
    1 c. brown sugar
    1/4 c. light corn syrup
    1/2 c. butter
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 tsp. baking soda
    1 c. peanuts
Preparation
    Place popped corn in large doubled brown paper bag.
    Combine sugar, syrup, butter and salt in bowl.
    Microwave on High 2 minutes, stir.
    Microwave 3 minutes, stir after each minute.
    Add vanilla and baking soda.
    Stir.
    Pour over popcorn in bag.
    Shake well.
    Microwave 1 minute.
    Repeat.
    Shake well.
    Microwave 30 seconds.
    Add peanuts, if desired.
    Repeat.
    Pour on foil or waxed paper to cool.
    Store in tight container.
