Prune Bread(From Grandmother Dora Thalmann Clasen, Circa 1940) - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 1/3 c. sifted flour
1/2 tsp. cloves
1 tsp. allspice
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. soda
1/4 c. softened butter
1 c. sugar
3 eggs
1/2 c. sour cream
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. chopped cooked prunes
Preparation

Sift dry ingredients.
Cream butter and sugar, add eggs one at a time.
Mix well after each.
Carefully add sour cream and vanilla, mix until smooth and well blended.
Add dry ingredients and prunes. Mix well.
Pour into buttered loaf pan.
Bake in 350\u00b0 oven for 1 hour.
Remove from pan and cool.
