Ingredients

2/3 c. sugar
1/4 c. cocoa
2 Tbsp. cornstarch
2 c. skim milk
2 egg whites, beaten
1 Tbsp. low-fat margarine
1 tsp. vanilla extract
toasted almonds or peppermint candy (optional)
Preparation

Combine sugar, cocoa and cornstarch in a 6 or 8 cup measure. Gradually stir the milk into dry mixture with wire whisk and cover.
Cook on High for 5 to 8 minutes or until thickened and bubbly, stirring 2 or 3 times.
