Apple Pie(Sour Cream Espanola Valley) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 baked 9-inch pie shell
    1 qt. tart Espanola Valley apples, sliced thinly
    1/3 c. sugar
    1/3 c. butter
    1/4 tsp. nutmeg
    1/2 tsp. cinnamon
    1 box sour cream
    1 c. American cheese
Preparation
    Peel and
    core
    apples
    and slice.
    Cook in butter five minutes.
    Add
    sugar and spices to apples.
    Cover and cook for ten minutes.
    Place
    in
    pie
    shell and cover with sour cream. Place in pie shell and cover with sour cream.
    Sprinkle cheese over the top of the sour cream.
    Place pie under oven broiler until cheese melts.
    Serve warm.
