Copper Pennies - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. carrots, sliced
1 tsp. celery seed
1 tsp. mustard seed
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. vinegar
1/2 c. water
1/3 c. oil
1/2 green bell pepper, chopped
1 c. chopped celery
1 medium onion, chopped
Preparation

Cook carrots for 10 minutes.
Pour over this the celery seed, mustard seed, sugar, vinegar, water and oil.
Cook the carrots, onion, celery and bell pepper until a little tender.
