Irish Soda Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 c. flour
4 tsp. baking powder
6 tsp. butter
1 c. sugar
1/2 box raisins (let soak in warm water)
handful caraway seed
2 c. whole milk
1/2 fresh lemon
Preparation

In large bowl, mix all dry ingredients.
Break up butter into small pieces.
Add raisins (drain water).
Slowly add milk (mixing to a gummy texture) and squeezed lemon.
Preheat oven to 350\u00b0. Place mixture in pan (grease and flour bottom only of pan).
Make a cross on top of mixture with knife.
Bake for 35 minutes until golden brown.
Let cool 10 minutes.
