Ingredients

1 1/2 lb. carrots, pared (10 medium)
1 tsp. salt
1/4 c. water
3 Tbsp. butter or regular margarine
2 Tbsp. cider vinegar
2 Tbsp. sugar
1/2 tsp. cornstarch
2 Tbsp. cold water
1 Tbsp. chopped fresh parsley
Preparation

Cut carrots into 2 x 1/4 x 1/8 strips.
Place in 2-quart glass casserole.
Dissolve salt in 1/4 cup water.
Pour over carrots. Cover and microwave at High setting 11 minutes or until carrots are tender, stirring every 3 minutes.
