Persimmon Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. persimmon pulp
    1 c. sugar
    1/2 c. shortening
    1 c. chopped nuts
    1 c. raisins
    1/2 tsp. nutmeg
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1 egg, beaten
    2 c. flour
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1/2 tsp. cloves
    1/2 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Beat persimmon pulp, soda, sugar and shortening until creamy. Add eggs, dry ingredients, raisins and nuts.
    Drop by spoonfuls on greased baking sheet.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 for 12 to 15 minutes.
    Makes 4 to 5 dozen.
