Ham And Cheese Stuffed Peppers - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 large peppers
    1 small onion (1/4 c.)
    2 Tbsp. butter
    1/2 lb. cooked ground ham
    1 c. packaged herb bread stuffing
    1 Tbsp. dried parsley flakes
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1 (8 oz.) pkg. sliced Swiss cheese
Preparation
    Cut slice from stem end of peppers, remove seed and cook in boiling salted water for 3 minutes.
    Drain.
    Saute onion in butter until tender.
    Combine ham, stuffing, parsley, pepper, tomatoes and onions.
    Take 2 slices of cheese and cut into 6 strips. Repeat with 2 more slices.
    Place 3 strips upright in each pepper. Cube remaining cheese and stir into ham mixture.
    Pile into peppers.
    Place in shallow pan and bake for 20 minutes at 350\u00b0.
