Butternut Snowballs - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 sticks butter
    2 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. sugar
    2 c. sifted flour
    2 c. chopped pecans
    powdered sugar
Preparation
    Cream butter, sugar and vanilla until fluffy.
    Sift flour with salt and add to creamed mixture.
    Blend thoroughly.
    Add pecans and mix.
    Shape into 1-inch balls and place on baking sheet.
    Bake in slow 325\u00b0 oven for about 20 minutes.
    Do not allow to brown. Cool and roll in powdered sugar.
