Fresh Strawberry Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 qt. fresh strawberries
    3 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1 c. sugar
    2 Tbsp. lemon juice
    1 (9-inch) pie shell
Preparation
    Wash and hull berries and reserve half of best ones.
    Mash the other half, add cornstarch and sugar and cook until thick and clear.
    Remove from heat and stir in lemon juice.
    Cool add whole berries, or, if too large, cut in half, but save a few for garnishing.
    Pour into pie shell, cover with whipped cream and garnish.
