Margie'S Peppers - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    12 firm green and red bell peppers
    1 can black and green pitted olives
    1 can anchovies
    4 cloves crushed garlic
    olive oil
    white or apple vinegar
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    Bring water to a boil in a large pot.
    Place washed, whole peppers in boiling water.
    Watch and cook until the peppers are tender but firm to touch.
    Remove peppers and cool.
    When cooled, slice them about 1/2-inch in thickness.
    Be sure to remove the seeds and stems.
