Macerated Fruits - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 lb. summer fruits (pears, plums, strawberries, raspberries, cherries, apricots, peaches)
lemon juice
2 Tbsp. powdered sugar
1 pt. Rose wine
Preparation

Remove cores or stones from fruits and slice or halve according to size.
Sprinkle lemon juice over any fruit likely to brown.
Arrange in layers in large glass dish.
Add sugar to wine and pour over fruit.
Leave in refrigerator for several hours or overnight to allow fruits to macerate.
Serve with cream.
