Raisin Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. hot water
    1/2 c. shortening
    1 c. sugar
    2 tsp. salt
    2 eggs, beaten
    2 Tbsp. yeast
    1/2 c. warm water
    7 c. sifted flour
    1 c. raisins
    1/2 tsp. cinnamon
Preparation
    Mix hot
    water,
    sugar,
    salt and shortening.
    Cool to lukewarm. Dissolve yeast in
    warm
    water.
    Add eggs, flour, raisins and cinnamon. Stir until well
    blended.
    Let
    rise
    in warm
    place about 50 minutes. Punch down.
    Knead 1/2 minute.
    Turn into 2 greased loaf pans.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 for 35 to 40 minutes.
