Hot Crab Dip - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. crab meat
    1 bunch green onions, finely chopped
    1 heaping Tbsp. cornstarch
    1 stick butter
    1 large can evaporated milk
    1/4 lb. grated cheese
    salt and pepper to taste
    Melba round crackers
Preparation
    Melt butter; saute onions and cornstarch and blend.
    Add milk, salt and pepper and mix until thick.
    Add crabmeat and cheese. Serve in chafing dish with Melba rounds.
