Cherry Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 can red cherries (no pie filling)
1 heaping Tbsp. cornstarch
1 heaping c. sugar
3/4 stick oleo
dash of salt
squirt of lemon
Preparation

Start cold.
Drain juice from cherries into 1-quart pan.
Mix cornstarch (sprinkle).
Stir well.
Then under low-medium heat, add sugar and oleo.
Stir in dash of salt, then add cherries. Stir in lemon.
Put in uncooked pie shell.
Cover with additional pie strips or slit top if using whole shell.
Bake at 400\u00b0 until golden brown, approximately 30 to 45 minutes.
