Oatmeal Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/4 c. hot water
    1 stick butter
    1 c. quick oatmeal
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1 1/3 c. self-rising flour
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. brown sugar
    2 eggs
    1/4 tsp. nutmeg
Preparation
    Pour hot water over butter and oats; let stand 20 minutes. Add sugar and eggs.
    Add dry ingredients.
    Pour into greased 13 x 9-inch cake pan.
    Top with Butter Pecan Icing.
