Joe'S Oriental Brisket - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (3 to 7 lb.) brisket
    1 bottle teriyaki sauce
    1 c. water
    1 c. brown sugar
    2 Tbsp. garlic powder and pepper
Preparation
    Mix teriyaki sauce, water and brown sugar.
    Sprinkle in garlic powder and pepper; stir.
    Marinate a 3 to 7 pound brisket in teriyaki sauce for 24 hours.
    Place brisket on gas or charcoal grill for 1 hour.
    Remove and place in pan with teriyaki sauce and bake in oven for 3 1/2 hours.
    Turn the brisket 1 time midway through cooking.
    Remove meat from oven and let it cool for 15 minutes.
    Place on platter, pour teriyaki over meat.
    Cut into 3/4-inch strips and serve.
