Peanut Brittle Candy - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. sugar
1 c. white syrup
1/2 c. water
1 tsp. salt
2 c. peanuts
1 tsp. butter
1 Tbsp. baking soda
1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

In a skillet, combine sugar, water, syrup and salt and stir occasionally.
Boil slow until candy thermometer reaches hard crack.
Remove from heat and add butter, vanilla and peanuts. Stir well and continue cooking for about 5 minutes.
Remove from heat and stir in baking soda.
Stir well and pour on cookie sheet (slightly buttered).
Crack into pieces.
