Ingredients

5 large eggs
1 1/2 c. butter
2 1/2 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
2 1/2 c. plain flour
1 c. less 1 Tbsp. milk
1 1/2 c. coconut glaze
Preparation

Beat egg yolks with butter until creamy.
Add sugar and vanilla.
Gradually add flour alternately with milk.
Add coconut. Beat egg whites until stiff peaks form.
Fold egg whites into mixture.
Bake 2 hours at 300\u00b0.
Let cool 15 minutes in pan.
