Butterscotch-Walnut Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. packed brown sugar
    2 c. sifted flour
    3/4 tsp. baking powder
    1 c. buttermilk
    1 egg
    1 1/2 tsp. butter, melted
    1/2 tsp. soda
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. chopped nuts
Preparation
    Mix vanilla, sugar, egg and butter.
    Add sifted dry ingredients alternately with buttermilk; beat for 4 minutes.
    Add nuts.
    Pour into a 9 x 5 x 3-inch loaf pan.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour.
