Strawberry Dessert - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    pound cake
    sweetened strawberries
    1 c. powdered sugar
    1/2 pt. whipping cream (whipped) or Cool Whip
    3 egg yolks
Preparation
    Use deep round dish.
    Cut pound cake and layer cake and strawberries; beginning with cake and ending with strawberries. Top with:
    egg yolks beaten with confectioners sugar.
    Beat this until mixture is pale yellow.
    Add the whipped cream or Cool Whip. Mix well.
    Refrigerate.
    Is better when sets several hours to allow cake to absorb juice from berries.
