Ingredients

1 box yellow cake mix (the Butter Recipe seems to turn out better)
1 (16 oz.) carton sour cream
1 fresh coconut
1 small carton Cool Whip
2 c. granulated sugar
Preparation

Prepare cake as directed on back of box.
(Bake in two 9-inch round cake pans.)
When cooled, slice each layer in half so to have 4 layers.
