Peanut Butter Fudge - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. sugar
    1 1/2 c. milk
    2 Tbsp. light corn syrup
    3/4 c. peanut butter, chunky or smooth
    2 Tbsp. vanilla
    1/4 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Combine in saucepan sugar, milk and corn syrup and cook over medium heat, stirring until sugar is dissolved.
    Continue cooking without stirring until
    small amount forms a soft ball in cold water (232\u00b0 on candy thermometer).\tRemove from stove; add\tpeanut butter,
    salt and vanilla.
    Beat immediately with wooden
    spoon until creamy.
    Pour into greased 9 x 9 x 2-inch pan.
    When cool, cut into squares.
