Chess Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 sticks oleo
    2 c. plain flour
    4 egg whites
    4 egg yellows
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. sugar
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 box brown sugar
Preparation
    Sift flour, baking powder and salt together.
    Melt oleo and both sugars; cream together.
    Add egg yellows, vanilla and dry ingredients and mix well.
    Fold in egg whites, beaten stiff.
    Cook at 350\u00b0 for 30 to 40 minutes in a 9 x 13-inch pan.
