Ingredients

3 1/2 c. self-rising flour
1 c. butter or margarine
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 c. sugar
Preparation

Mix butter and sugar. Add eggs and vanilla; mix well.
Add flour slowly.
Mix until smooth.
Roll into 1-inch balls and place on cookie sheet.
Press with glass coated with sugar.
Bake at 300\u00b0 to 325\u00b0 until brown around edges.
