Ingredients

1 lb. butter
1 1/4 c. sugar
2 eggs, beaten
1/4 tsp. cream of tartar
1/2 tsp. almond extract
5 c. sifted flour
1/2 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Cream butter and sugar thoroughly.
Add remaining ingredients. Chill dough about 1 hour and keep chilled while making.
Use cookie press.
Bake in 350\u00b0 oven until firm on top, about 10 or 12 minutes.
