German Potato Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. bacon
    3 1/2 lb. potatoes, boiled and diced
    2 c. chopped onion
    1/4 c. flour
    1 1/2 c. water
    1/4 c. vinegar
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1/4 c. light cream
Preparation
    In a large skillet, cook the bacon until crisp; drain (reserve 3 teaspoons drippings).
    Crumble bacon in a large bowl; toss bacon with potatoes and onion.
    Set aside.
    Combine flour, sugar, water, vinegar, salt and pepper; stir into skillet.
    Cook until thickened and bubbly.
    Stir in cream; pour over potato mixture.
    Toss gently to coat.
    Serve warm.
