So Easy Strawberry Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 baked pie shell or graham cracker crust
    2 pt. strawberries
    1/2 c. sugar
    3 Tbsp. cornstarch
Preparation
    Crush 1 pint strawberries and place in a saucepan.
    Add sugar and cornstarch.
    Stir and bring to boil.
    Boil 1 minute.
    While mixture cools, slice remaining pint of berries and place in pie shell.
    Pour cooked berries on top and refrigerate.
    Good served with a dollop of Cool Whip.
