Strawberry Punch - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (3 oz.) pkg. strawberry jello
    2 c. sugar
    1 (6 oz.) frozen pink lemonade
    1 (6 oz.) can water
    1 (46 oz.) pineapple juice
    1/2 bottle almond extract
    2 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen sliced strawberries
    2 qt. chilled ginger ale
Preparation
    Prepare jello as directed on package.
    Chill 1 hour stirring 2 times.
    Mix jello and other liquids in large bowl.
    Freeze.
    Three hours before serving, put frozen mixture in punch bowl to thaw.
    At serving time, add strawberries and ginger ale.
