Pancake And Waffle Mix - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. white flour
    2 c. cornmeal
    3 tsp. salt
    4 tsp. baking powder
    2/3 c. liquid shortening (for pancakes only half of the shortening may be used)
    2 c. buckwheat flour
    1 c. raw wheat germ
    4 tsp. soda
Preparation
    Mix together thoroughly. This may be used immediately or stored away in a cool place for later use. When using, take equal amounts of mixture and milk (sour milk is best). For pancakes, use 1 egg to 1 or 2 cups mixture.
    For waffles, use 1 egg to each cup of mixture.
