Apple Roll-Ups - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. self-rising flour
    3 Tbsp. shortening
    milk
    3 c. apples
    1/2 c. brown sugar
    1 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
    1 stick butter
    2 c. water
    1 1/4 c. white sugar
    1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Bring
    to
    boil
    in
    saucepan.
    Pour over dough mix and bake in a 350\u00b0 oven until golden brown (45 minutes to 1 hour). If
    too dry, boil more water, a little sugar and butter; pour over
    and let cook a little longer.
    Keep checking during the 45
    minutes to
    see
    if
    getting
    too dry.
    Go ahead and pour mixture on anytime.
