Gingersnaps - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. shortening
    1 c. sugar
    1 egg
    1/4 c. dark molasses
    2 tsp. soda
    2 c. flour
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. cloves
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1/2 tsp. ginger
Preparation
    Cream shortening and sugar.
    Add remaining ingredients.
    Form dough into balls and roll into white sugar.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 8 minutes.
    Do not overcook or cookies will turn hard.
