Cream Pies(Chocolate, Coconut Or Banana) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. sugar
    2 c. milk
    4 Tbsp. flour
    1/4 tsp. salt
    2 egg yolks, slightly beaten
    2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
    2 tsp. vanilla
    baked pastry shell or graham cracker crust
Preparation
    Mix dry ingredients with a little of the milk after heated. Blend well; add rest of milk .
    Cook first 4 ingredients in top of double boiler, stirring until thick.
    Cover and cook for 15 minutes longer, stirring occasionally.
    Add a little of the mixture to the beaten egg yolks.
    Stir well.
    Pour back into hot mixture.
    Cook a few minutes longer.
    Add margarine and vanilla. Pour into pie shell; cover with meringue and brown.
