White Chili - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. dried navy beans
    3 cans chicken broth
    1 c. water
    1 1/4 c. onion, chopped
    1 clove garlic, minced
    1/4 tsp. salt
    2 c. cooked chicken, chopped
    4 oz. green chiles, chopped
    1 tsp. ground cumin
    3/4 tsp. oregano
    1/4 tsp. red pepper
    1/8 tsp. ground cloves
    Monterey Jack cheese, shredded
Preparation
    Wash beans; place in large pot.
    Cover with water 2-inches above beans.
    Let soak.
    Drain beans, return to pot.
    Add broth and next 4 ingredients.
    Bring to a boil; cover and reduce heat, simmer 1 to 1 1/2 hours.
    Add chicken and next 5 ingredients, cook, covered, 30 minutes longer.
    Spoon into bowls, top with cheese.
