Corn Bread - cooking recipe

1 c. flour
1 c. cornmeal
2 Tbsp. sugar
1 Tbsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
2 eggs
1 c. milk
1/4 c. oil
Preparation

In mixing bowl, stir together flour, cornmeal, sugar, baking powder and salt.
In another bowl, beat together eggs, milk and oil.
Add to flour mixture and stir just until batter is smooth (do not overbeat).
Pour into a greased 9 x 9 x 2-inch pan.
Bake in a 425\u00b0 oven for 20 to 25 minutes or until golden brown.
