Banana Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 3/4 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
2/3 c. sugar
1/3 c. soft shortening or butter
2 eggs (unbeaten)
1/2 c. chopped nuts
1 c. mashed bananas (usually 2 or 3 bananas)
Preparation

Sift dry ingredients in large bowl of mixer; add butter, eggs, nuts and bananas. Beat on low speed until all blended, about 1 minute. Pour into greased 8 1/2 x 4 1/2 x 3-inch pan. Bake in preheated 350\u00b0 oven about 1 hour or until done.
Makes 1 medium sized loaf.
