Barb'S Fresh Peach Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 c. sliced peaches
    1/4 c. brown sugar
    1/2 c. granulated sugar
    1 to 2 Tbsp. lemon juice
    3 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1/4 tsp. cinnamon
    1/4 tsp. nutmeg
    pinch of salt
Preparation
    Mix the first 4 ingredients; let stand 1 hour.
    Mix the cornstarch, cinnamon, nutmeg and salt.
    Gradually pour syrup from peaches; cook until thick and clear.
    Mix with peaches, stirring gently.
    Place peach mixture on bottom crust of pie shell.
    Roll top crust and place over peaches.
    Bake in preheated 450\u00b0 oven for 10 minutes.
    Reduce oven temperature to 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes. Best if sets to cool for awhile.
