Cherry Crunch - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. soda
1/2 tsp. salt
3/4 c. soft butter
1 c. sugar
2 eggs
3 Tbsp. cherry syrup
1 c. chopped dates
1 c. chopped nuts
1/3 c. chopped cherries
2 1/2 c. frosted flakes
12 to 15 cherries, quartered
Preparation

Sift together flour, baking powder, soda and salt.
Blend butter and sugar; add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.
Stir in cherries; add sifted ingredients, nut meats, dates and chopped cherries.
Mix well.
Crush flakes slightly. Roll teaspoon of dough in crumbs, place on greased cookie sheet. Press 1/4 cherry into each cookie.
Bake at 375\u00b0 for 15 minutes.
