Tostones - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 large green plantain
Goya corn oil (for frying)
Goya Adobo
Preparation

Peel plantain and cut into diagonal 3/4-inch thick slices. Deep fry in hot oil at 375\u00b0 until tender, but hot crusty (1 to 2 minutes).
Drain on paper towel.
Cover with wax paper and press down on each plantain with palm of hand to flatten.
Deep fry again until crusty and golden on both sides.
Drain.
Season lightly with Adobo and serve hot.
Serves 2 to 4.
